Our Story
Calvary Lutheran Church began as a small group of devoted Christians gathered under the guidance of Pastor Baglien in 1956. Over the decades, we have grown into a welcoming congregation of about 100 active members in the heart of Hillsboro, Oregon.
We are a member of the Oregon Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our mission is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.
Everyone is welcome, no matter your age, beliefs, or background. Come just as you are.
Our Worship
Sundays at 10 AM — All are welcome.
Calvary worship services are liturgical based, with a blended musical style of traditional and contemporary arrangements. You can also join us from home on Zoom or watch on CLC YouTube.
During certain seasons on Wednesday evenings, Calvary offers Agape Meals — a simple soup supper, informal discussion about a Bible text, followed by communion and prayer.
